A much awaited Women’s Big Bash League 2024 will kick off start on 27 October and Final will played on 1st December This Year. WBBL 2024 is the most popular Cricket tournament for Women’s.
The Women’s Big Bash League schedule includes a total of 43 matches: 40 regular season matches (10 for each team) and 3 playoff matches.
The WBBL 24/25 will be the 10th edition of the competition. The regular season begins on 27 October 2024 and concludes on 24 November. The WBBL playoffs will take place between 27 November and 1 December.

The Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) is a professional Twenty20 cricket league in Australia. It is the premier domestic women’s cricket competition in the country and one of the most competitive women’s T20 leagues in the world. The WBBL was established in 2015 and has quickly gained popularity and attracted top-level cricketers from around the globe.

Women’s Big Bash League Format
The WBBL is a T20 tournament. This means that in each match, both teams are given 20 overs to score as many runs as possible. The team with the most runs after both teams have batted is the winner. Matches usually last around 3 hours.
The structure of the WBBL is as follows:
Group Stage
The first round of the WBBL is a round-robin group stage, where all teams play each other twice, home and away. 2 points are awarded for a win, 0 for a loss and 1 for a match deemed “no result” due to issues such as bad weather. After all round-robin matches have been played, the top 4 teams with the most points advance to the playoff stage of the competition, while the remaining teams are eliminated.
Playoff Stage
The team that finishes top of the league in the round-robin stage of the tournament advances directly to the final, while the second, third and fourth-placed teams are forced to go through preliminary knockout matches.
Fixtures for the playoff stage of the WBBL are as follows:
The Knockout: Third-placed team versus fourth-placed team. The winner remains in the competition and the loser is eliminated.
The Challenger: Winner of the knockout stage against the second-place team. The winner advances to the final. The loser is eliminated.
The Final: The top-ranked team will face the winner of the Challenger. The winner will be named the champion of the Women’s Big Bash League.
WBBL 2024 Teams
The league features eight teams representing different cities across Australia. Each team plays a round-robin schedule, with the top two teams qualifying for the final. The WBBL is known for its fast-paced, exciting cricket, as well as its commitment to promoting women’s cricket and inspiring young girls to take up the sport.
