PSL Director Sohaib Sheikh and Women’s Cricket Head Tania Mallick Resign from PCB

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced today that Sohaib Sheikh, PSL Director, and Tania Mallick, Head of Women’s Cricket, have stepped down from their roles to pursue other career opportunities.

Sohaib rejoined the PCB 13 months ago, having previously worked there from 2016 to 2019, while Tania started her role at Gaddafi Stadium in October 2021.

PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer said:

“Sohaib Sheikh and Tania Mallick played important roles in our team, contributing significantly to the PCB’s growth. Sohaib was instrumental in launching the HBL PSL in 2016 and successfully delivered four seasons before returning to oversee another successful event this year.

“Tania was committed to developing women’s cricket in Pakistan, focusing on expanding the player base at grassroots levels. Her efforts, alongside PCB support, earned her a place on the ICC Women’s Committee as one of the Full Member representatives.

“We thank both Sohaib and Tania for their hard work and contributions and wish them the best in their future paths.”
