India’s legspinner Asha Sobhana sustained a knee injury during the warm-up ahead of their final Group A match of the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 against Australia. As a result, she was ruled out of the match.
After consulting with the match referee, Shandre Fritz, and Australia’s stand-in captain, Tahlia McGrath (replacing the injured Alyssa Healy), India named left-arm spinner Radha Yadav as Sobhana’s replacement for the game.
